This means taking care of yourself and working at bettering who you currently are. If that means taking a shower more than once a week, then do it. If that means losing a little weight, then do it. This gives you the confidence you need to face your ex again.

The worst possible thing after a breakup is being alone. This only leaves room for self wallowing pity. Spend time with old, possibly forgotten friends. Dress nicely, eat, party and give your ex a reason to want to spend time with you if he/she happens to run into you.

3: Stand Out and Shine

You are a wonderful person. There are plenty of people out there who adore you and love being around you. Keep it that way. While the pain from your breakup will take time to heal you also need to constantly shine as who you are. It was being you that initially caused your ex to notice you and it’s being you that will cause your ex to take notice of you again.

Not only do you need to shine you need to stand out and shine. Sometimes you need to dress better than the way you feel. Sometimes you need to act as a leader and help everyone else have fun even when you feel like you have a hole inside your chest. These kinds of actions will help you stand out so if you come across your ex he/she will be impressed-which is vital to getting him/her back.

4: Finding Middle Ground

By now you have probably bumped into your ex and seen the changes each has made. The only concern keeping the two of you from jumping back onto the relationship boat is that the problem isn’t fixed. Now that tempers have settled meet with your ex and discuss the problem and find a solution-which usually requires meeting somewhere in the middle so neither of you feels like your losing something. Show your ex how honest you are about getting back together by making compromises with him/her to be better and work to fix the major problems.

Breakups happen even between people who think they’ll spend forever together. Sometimes it’s just a hiccup and other times it’s serious. In either situation it’s possible to get your ex back and keep a hold of him/her so you don’t lose your ex again.

My boyfriend broken up with me just over 2 years ago,

I was all over the place, I can still remember feeling like my life just ended and I was searching the internet for tips how to get my ex back and the unconventional methods to get my ex back that I heard so much about.

I text terrorized my ex and told him that i cannot live without him but none of this ever worked! My god this was an absolute waste of time!

I followed the advice of my friends and his friends and stopped trying to work out how to get my ex back to me for a whole week and haven’t contacted him once. I was deeply committed to work out how to get my ex boyfriend back still, but I was ready to give him that space and let him think that my life is going fine without him.

Actually, I went through a heap of forums and even Yahoo answers looking for answers how to get my ex back and what should I do, I tried to find methods that others used to get their ex back and someone recommended some unconventional method and she told me to go visit a page called magic of making up.
